Focused Wild's Webinar Series is off and running! As with any new program, there are bound to be technical problems that crop up from time to time. This will hopefully answer most of your questions. If your question isn't answered here, please email amy@focusedwild.com.

  1. What if I can't attend the webinar when it's offered? The webinar is being recorded and will be available to view online for seven (7) days. You will receive a link and passcode to the recording approximately 24-hours after the webinar ends. If you do not have a link within 48 hours, please email amy@focusedwild.com

  5. I don't like using PayPal. Is there any other way I can pay the registration fee? At this time, the only payment integration Zoom offers is PayPal. However, it does offer an option to pay with a credit card without having an account.

  6. Can I download the webinar recording? No, the webinar recording is only available to stream through Zoom.

  7. My webinar passcode doesn't work for the recording. How can I see the recording? When you receive the email with the link for the recording, it contains a new passcode. Use this passcode to access the recording.

  8. When can I expect to receive the link to the webinar recording? You will receive a link and passcode to the recording approximately 24-hours after the webinar ends. If you do not have a link within 48 hours, please email amy@focusedwild.com

  9. I forgot to watch the recording before it expired. Can you reset the link for me? Once the link expires, the recording is not longer stored online and the link cannot be reset. Please make sure to watch it in the time period when it's available.


  1. What service are you using to host the webinar? Our webinars and recordings are offered exclusively via Zoom.

  2. I don't like Zoom. Can I join the webinar or watch the recording on another service (like YouTube or Vimeo)? Our webinars and recordings are offered exclusively via Zoom. There are no alternative services available. If you do not want to use Zoom, please do not sign up for the webinar.

  3. Do I need an account to use Zoom? A Zoom account is not required if you are strictly joining the webinar as a participant. If someone invites you to their meeting, you can join as a participant without creating an account.  

  4. Do I need a microphone and webcam to join the webinar? No. The host and presenter will be on video and unmuted, but the audience will join in listen-only mode. Questions can be submitted through the Q&A panel in the webinar.

  5. Will the other people at the webinar be able to see or hear me? No, all attendees will be muted and their video disabled.

  6. What kind of device can I use to join the webinar? You can join the webinar with any computer or internet-enabled mobile device. It will work best if you join via the link in your confirmation email, so we strongly recommend using the computer or device that you use to access your email.

  7. How do I join the webinar? You received a confirmation email and it contains a link to join the webinar. Click the link and you should be in!

  8. What if my email isn't on the device that I want to use to view the webinar? Since this webinar requires a paid registration, the link in your email is the only way to join. If you try to join manually, you will be asked to pay the registration fee again. Please use a device that has access to your email to join the webinar. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you have other problems joining the webinar, please email amy@focusedwild.com. Amy will be monitoring that email address once the presenter starts speaking (approximately 5-10 minutes after the webinar start time).

  9. How long will the webinar last? The presentation will last approximately 45-60 minutes, with an additional 30 minutes at the end for Q&A.
